Another Enjoyable Stay at Hyatt Regency Denver

I don’t recall the number, but mid-year last year the folks at Hyatt Regency Denver informed me that I had stayed over 150 nights at their property in the last 14 months.  That probably means I’m over 200 nights now.  I know most of the staff and they treat me very well.

The Hyatt is very well located, right downtown.  It’s a cosmopolitan property, the perfect fit for a downtown metro area.  Frankly, this hotel should be the Grand in Denver, and the Grand should be the Regency.  But, I digress.

Anyway, I had a last-minute suite request due to someone coming into town to visit me.  A quick e-mail to the property, and one of the front office managers called me back right away to take care of it.  The staff here really is awesome.

If I remember correctly, this is an Aspen suite.  It’s one of the smaller suites in the hotel, but still a really great room.  As you can see, I’ve got some soft seating, a big dining room/conference table, wet bar and kitchen with a full fridge.

On top of that, they left me a nice bottle of wine, a bunch of bottled water and OJ.  They know everything I need.

But, they weren’t done.  About 10 minutes after I checked in, there was a knock on the door.  In-room dining delivered a platter of cheeses, meats, and other accompaniments.  Truly awesome!

Whitney’s been the VIP Manager here for the two years I’ve been staying.  She just got promoted, and I’m a bit bummed.  But, it’s a great opportunity for her, so I wish her well.  She’s taken awesome care of me over the past two years.

One of the other reasons I truly enjoy this hotel is Peaks, their bar on the 27th floor.  It’s a great view, a really decent wine list, and a great menu of small plates.  They also have one of the best fitness centers of any hotel I travel to throughout the year.

A truly enjoyable hotel to work on my lifetime Hyatt status!
