My father made sure we were on airplanes at a fairly young age, and I never lost the travel bug. I discovered some online travel communities earlier in the decade where I learned how to earn points and miles in large quantities so I could enjoy traveling anywhere in the world, and always in a comfortable seat and hotel room.

Now that I have two kids of my own, I want them to see the world, including tons of places I still have yet to visit.  I hope you’ll come along with me, and indulge me the occasional off-topic post here and there.

I’m always happy to answer questions and teach people the ropes.  I had my fair share of “mileage mentors” and I’m happy to do the same for you.  I’ve started a list of places I find valuable, and I’m happy to help you utilize any of them:

You can also send me e-mail at ed@milepoint.com with questions.
